Research progress in the methods of identifying the PICC tip malposition

Abstract:

There are many ways to identify the peripherally inserted central catheter tip malposition, including anthropometric measurements, intracavitary electrocardiographic (ECG), ultrasound localization technology, electromagnetic navigation technology and chest X-ray. In order to identify PICC tip position promptly and accurately before transfusion, we summarize the progress of the above methods for identifying PICC tip position, wish to deliver some help to colleagues.
