Acute kidney injury: precision treatment based on early identification

Abstract:

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common critical illness the intensive care unit. In recent years, the pathophysiology mechanism, new biomarkers, scoring systems, and prediction models for AKI have aroused widespread attention. This article briefly reviews the early identification and diagnosis of AKI, the personalized management of renal replacement therapy, and the development of new drug targets for AKI.
