Abstract:

In this case, a patient with diabetic foot combined with three chronic complications which include diabetic retinopathy, diabetic peripheral neuropathy and diabetic nephropathy. The clinician empirically treated with teicoplanin and Imipenem/Cilastatin Sodium. But the treatment was not satisfactory and the patient deteriorated into septic shock. Through adjusting the drug to daptomycin, antishock, debridement and drainage, blood purification and nutrition support, diabetic foot infection is effectively controlled.
