Application of circulating screening and classified admission in Fangcang shelter hospital for COVID-19 patient

Abstract:

Objective

To construct a standardized protocol of circulating screening and to implement classified admission management in Fangcang shelter hospital for COVID-19 patient.

Methods

A cooperated doctor-nurse screening team was established, forming a screening protocol for high-risk patients, with each step as pre-examination and triage, classified admission, first systematic evaluation, daily cabin screening, focusing serious patients, and feedback after each shift tracking. Colored classified area management was implied with purple, red, orange, yellow and green.

Results

Twenty-six-thousand two hundred and forty-five patients was admitted to Fangcang shelter hospital, achieving "Zero Mortality, Zero Dispute, Zero Public Sentiment, Zero Accident".

Conclusion

Circulating screening and classified admission can realize homogenization of management and ensure efficient and orderly admission in Fangcang shelter hospital.
