Abstract:

The treatment of neurocritical care patients focuses on the prevention of secondary injury. In clinical practice, we should fully understand the basic principles (i.e., stabilization, wait, prevention and promotion) in the management of neurocritical care patients, implement tissue and organ management based on cardiopulmonary oxygen delivery and brain structural management for neurocritical care patients, highlight the key role of craniocerebral blood flow management in the management of neurocritical care patients, and strengthen the management of dysregulated inflammatory stress response, thus providing preferred management for preventing brain dysfunction and accurately treating neurocritical care patients.

Key words: Neurocritical care, Acute brain injury, Organ, Cerebral blood flow, Inflammatory stress response
