Abstract:

In December 2019, a new type of coronavirus pneumonia broke out in Wuhan, China. The treatment of severe and critical patients is difficult and medical resources are consumed. Therefore, early warning of severe disease, separate, fine-grained management and early intervention should be achieved. It is essential to reduce severe disease as much as possible. According to current research, in addition to the severe early warning indicators mentioned in the seventh edition of the diagnosis and treatment plan recently issued by the National Health Commission, other early warning indicators for severe 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia include: elderly people, combined with chronic underlying diseases, increased respiration rate, decreased CD4+ T lymphocyte count, increased neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio, and impaired organ function. This article aims to summarize the early warning indicators of severe 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia patients.

Key words: 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia, Intensive care, Early warning
