Abstract:

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) epidemic swept more than a hundred countries and regions and has been officially characterized as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. Since the occurrence of the disease, many articles have successively reported epidemiological and clinical characteristics of COVID-19 patients, but there are few reports on analysis of risk factors for mortality, clinical course and duration of viral shedding. In this paper, a family clustered outbreak was reported, and it was found that the duration of viral shedding in COVID-19 patients was not fully consistent with the severity of the disease. Specific therapeutics are still lacking for 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia and research into it has not been discontinued.
