Abstract:

In the early stage of the epidemic, Jilin Central General Hospital quickly and decisively applied to become a designated hospital for COVID-19 in Jilin. According to the evaluation standards of designated hospitals, we completed the renovation and received the patient as soon as possible, practicing the general policy of "people first, life first", with centralized treatment as the core and all patients received the treatment. We concentrated efforts to treat critically ill patients with COVID-19 with the multi-disciplinary cooperation. Medical work was carried out in an orderly manner. Infection prevention and control was also scientific and standardized. Nine medical teams from inside and outside the province were organized and coordinated. A total of 4670 patients received the treatment with a successful rate of 99.96%, which laid a solid foundation for zero clear in Jinlin. We summarised the management experience of COVID-19 in our hospital to provide a reference.
