Abstract:

The onset of maternal sepsis is urgent and the disease progresses rapidly. Delayed treatment may lead to poor prognosis. Pregnant women are in a special physiological period, and maternal sepsis also has its own characteristics. ICU doctors and obstetricians do not know enough about the characteristics and changes of maternal sepsis, resulting in untimely or nonstandard treatment and increasing maternal and infant mortality. This paper summarizes the research progress of maternal sepsis, strengthens the understanding of ICU doctors and obstetricians on maternal sepsis, and reduces the perinatal mortality.

Key words: Sepsis, Maternal, Obstetrics infection
