Abstract:

Liver transplantation is final curement for end-stage liver disease. However, postoperative infection seriously deteriorates prognosis in liver transplantation patients. With current high nosocomial infection rates and mainly multidrug-resistant bacteria as pathogen, attention should also be paid to donor-derived infections. This article reports a case of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii bacteremia in liver transplantation patient and analyzes characteristics of early postoperative infections after liver transplantation through literature review, which including donor infection screening and management, prevention of recipient infection, and anti-microbial strategies for Acinetobacter baumannii bacteremia.
