Treatment of fulminant myocarditis with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation: a case report

Abstract:

Infectious myocarditis is the most common type of myocarditis, common myocarditis usually does not have obvious clinical symptoms, but fulminant myocarditis can cause heart failure, circulatory instability and other life-threatening conditions. In this paper a patient with fulminant myocarditis successfully treated by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation was reported.
